It is a truth universal that most GRC systems are mediocre at best. It is also true that I have no idea how to design, code, or deploy my own IT system. And so in January 2026 I set out to kill two birds with one stone.

I would use ChatGPT to learn how to build a GRC system and it would be named Valhalla. Domain name registered, ChatGPT fired up, how hard could it be?
